YES it is finally there ... the replacement for the ALL BLACKS sign that sits above the northern flight path to Wellington Airport. The WELLINGTON sign being blown away by our gentle breezes!! The final statement after so much controversy about the signage WELLYWOOD to ALL BLACKS to WELLINGT O N.
Mojos maa great coffee ... their Dr Mojo Blend is great for most times of the day ... and YES they use about 2% of robusta beans to give a subtle hit to the 98% of arabica beans ... an intersting label and source. Some more coffeee images to follow from the Coffee Class. A great way to learn about coffee and how to make a memorable cup.
Not really the Pigeon Tree but it is one where they roost ... so take care walking underneath. Aro Park between Manners and Dixon Streets and obviously on the edge of the party zone .. so you may only consume alcohol inside the licensed establishments. The Opera House is in the background behind the tree.
An alternative view of Wellington Harbour ...The red roof of the Boatshed and the Rowing Club to the right and Te Papa directly behind that. Oriental Bay and Mt Victoria behind that again. THANKS TO RUMI FOR THE PHOTO.
YES this is the New World Supermarket in the central city ... and YES it is across the road from a couple of backpacker hotels ... so just about any time day and night you will see many visitors to the Capital City purchase food, beer, wine and other products. The customer mix is truely international.
