#1185 ... Sudden Downpour

Saturday morning was looking good ... until the heavens opened up with a sudden downpour of rain ... all the Saturday morning cyclists were now looking like drowned rats on bikes. I went across the road to Rhythm Cafe had had welcome hot coffee.

In southern Italy we have the opposite problem, are months that it does not rain, drought causes fires that destroy the Mediterranean forest

YES unfortunately it seems to be the way the climate now happens in lots of places ... from one extreme to the other. Wellington being close to the see has much less extremes than most other places ... we just have wind !!!. ciao Jeremy
