#656 ... Umbrella Day

Apologies about missing the daily photo yesterday ... but my PC had an off day and I have had to crank up the old steam driven laptop. This image is taken at the northern end of Cuba Mall at what used to be well know as James Smith's Corner because this department store used to be here .. to the right of the umbrella. The building behind the umbrella is the old BNZ bank building which now houses Burger King !! ... YEAH RIGHT

Down the end of the street to the right of the photo is the Town Hall and the Michael Fowler Centre. Manners Street is off to the left of the photo
