#1743 ... Blues
Couple of weeks ago on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, Rumi heard this solo act performing a great mix of blues, rockabilly & soul music outside Memphis Belle cafe in Dixon Street. So he grabbed a seat, ordered a coffee and spent sometime being part of the scene ... felt like it was in a small town in Tennessee. Rumi really wanted to take a picture but didn't have his camera ... but noticed a young couple seated nearby having one. A big thanks to Adam Knowles for lending Rumi his Nikon D700 to capture this image. THANKS to both of you

#1742 ... Kete
Came across Sonny, who travels the country making these ketes (maori bags). This particular version was stunning in dark green and black flax. Sonny was in the process of making another one and the smell of the flax wafting through the atrium where he was working was naturally delightful. Thanks Sonny
