There are a few of these charging posts around the city for the few electric cars we ave ... mainly promotional vehicles although one courier company has some that operate in the centre of the city. The lack of engine noise can be disconcerting for some pedestrians.

You are ahead of us here in my bit of the North of England. I have yet to encounter an electric car or van, that could be because I have yet to see a charging place either! Chicken and egg I guess.
Yeah! And I totally can't wait to try one of those cars. :) Probably, aside from being better overall, makes you actually FEEL better!
